This production house is owned by Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt. They have also been associated with the Mahesh Bhatt School of Cinema. The production house is named after Vishesh, who is Mukesh Bhatts’s son, in 1986. Vishesh films have made a reputation for themselves for launching new faces and presenting budding actors to the public. The USP of their films is the exceptional music and treatment of topics that fringe on social norms and situations related tothe deepest core of the mind. Some of the most well known mainstream and parallel cinema actors have been associated with the banner. Some of their biggest hits were Jurm, Murder1,2, Tum Mile, Aashiqui 2 and Dil Hai ki Manta Nhain.

4. Vinod Chopra Films

Founded by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, it is one of the most successful production houses in the country today. He believes in what he had propagated in 3Idiots – “chase excellence and success will follow.”He has been directing films since 1942 and has managed to capture the pulse of the masses every time. Quite a few of his movies have been nominated for Oscars. He has also produced classics like Munnabhai and Parinda. Most of his movies have seen domestic and international success. He is presently working on the post production of an English movie called BROKEN Horses.
