After experiments with playing all sorts of different characters, Saif Ali Khan is back to doing what he does best - being the urban goofball we knew and loved! The 'Happy Ending' trailer sees Saif playing Yudi, a writer living in Hollywood whose glory days are over. When a single screen star (Govinda) approaches him with an offer to write a script that will turn him into a multiplex sensation, Saif wants to reinvent the wheel but the actor is not convinced. 'Happy Ending' is directed by Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru of 'Go Goa Gone' fame and also stars Ileana D'Cruz, Kalki Koechlin and Ranvir Shorey. We think this film will work for Saif, who was quite frankly, not much of a success playing the bombastic hero from the hinterland (Bullett Raja) or the leading man who excels at gag humour (Humshakals).
