When you have more money than you need, what do you do? Store it? Swim in it? Or scoop out a cake with gold biscuits? Well, that is just going crazy, something that is understandable to an extent. But what would be going full-blown crazy is buying the things listed below! Why you ask? Because most of these things are, well, let’s just say these are wild fantasies of the rich come out alive. And the sensible out there can only wonder about the many other places where the same amount could have been put in good use!



1. PG tips diamond tea bag – £7,500 (Rs. 7.4 lac)

Manufactured by Unilever UK, PG tips is a popular tea brand from the United Kingdom. And on their 75th anniversary in the year 2005, they came up with the idea of special tea packs, including a Gold pack and, yes, this gorgeous but, what-were-they-thinking diamond tea bag! The tea bag was studded in with as many as 280 diamonds!

2. Royal Diamond Chess- $500,000 (Rs. 3.1 crore)

Charles Hollander, one of the most respected names in the diamond industry, created the over-the-top fancy Royal Diamond Chess. Thirty craftsmen were involved in the making of the set, and their hard-work spanned over 4500 hours. About the diamonds? Well, about 1168.75 grams of 14 carat white gold, and 9900 black and white diamonds were used by the artists. Now while the set is totally beautiful and a state of the art thing, what is the whole use? And even if you use it, how would you be able to move the pieces with shivering fingers?
