9 Religious poems as used by Fundamentalists in order to justify their particular malpractices.

People choose to live with different philosophies and everyone is entitled to their own opinions but when coming to religion we should always keep in mind that religion was created for man, not man for religion. While religions all across the world endorse humanity but then doesn’t putting religion before humanity somehow seems a little illogical? Judging and even punishing people for what has been stamped as immoral. We have to try and understand that the referenced books were written in primordial times and the times have changed, why not just for once try being rational, we bring you some of the quotes from religious books from all majorly followed religions and the social evils(subjected to one’s own philosophy) they are used to justify.

1. Homosexuality

“If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.”
Leviticus 20:13

2. Voluntary Medical Negligence (Yes, that happens)

“Then comes the question, how do drugs, hygiene, and animal magnetism heal? It may be affirmed that they do not heal, but only relieve suffering temporarily, exchanging one disease for another. We classify disease as error, which nothing but Truth or Mind can heal, and this Mind must be divine, not human. Mind transcends all other power, and will ultimately supersede all other means in healing.”
