Peeing in shady corners, spitting with abandon and littering without guilt seems to be the norm in public spaces in India. In a startling display of hypocrisy, we first litter left right and centre and then blame everyone else under the sun for how filthy a country we live in. The thoughtful folks at Awkwardness Unlimited proved this with a social experiment in which they literally threw trash at people’s feet and shamed people who were peeing in public.
