This would have made for a perfect Teachers' Day gift had this guy been in India! Vinny Forte from Ohio State University took on a bet with his professor when he claimed he could throw a ball of paper from the back of the lecture hall into a dustbin that was located at the other end of the room. Of course, the teacher thought it was an impossible task and couldn't be done. But Forte not only landed the shot in one clear sweep but also won his classmates full marks in the Chemistry exam. Forte's throw went instantly viral on the internet. And it's clearly stuff made of beautiful luck!
We're guessing the teacher was left flabbergasted but definitely did keep the end of his bargain and awarded his class a perfect score in the exam. One of Forte's classmates took to Reddit to explain how the bet came about. "The professor was demonstrating electron energy levels with some ball representing the electron. He threw the ball up there at the beginning of lecture, and then talked for a bit. I think most people forgot about it until he told the person to throw it in the trashcan. Was originally supposed to be a girl that threw it but she handed it off to the guy that threw the shot after she heard what was at stake." God! If only we had a Vinny Forte to survive the endless torture that was these Chem classes!S/o to Benny for making this shot and getting the entire lecture an automatic 100 on our first ochem quiz pic.twitter.com/nmYJ34DjdM
