This Indian Restaurant Owner In Canada Has A Free Hot Meal For Anyone Who Can not Afford One

Indian Fusion is an Indian Restaurant in Edmonton, Canada. Other than serving some delicious Indian food, the restaurant also serves a lot of love and compassion. The eatery run by Parkash Chhibber who migrated to Canada from India offers free food/ drinks to anyone who is hungry and is unable to afford to buy one for themselves. In fact the restaurant has notice on its back-door encouraging any needy to utilise the facility.

"Dear friends, If you are hungry and have no money to pay, just ring the bell below or come in for a free meal box/coffee anytime" it reads.

It consists of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options as well as a beverage (milk/coffee/pop), and kindly asks these customers to inform the staff of any ‘allergy or dietary concerns’.

Chhibber who started the restaurant in 2009 has been providing free meals for the poor since past two years, even though the sign was put up only six months ago.

“I thought, how many people can I go and ask: ‘Are you hungry?’ It’s not possible. So I thought, why not put up a sign? In case somebody is hungry,” Chhibber told Canada's CTV on why he decided to put out the sign board.
