This Man Wrapped His Car In Gold Wrapping Paper To Troll Saudi Supercar Owners In London

Every spring and summer, Central London is witness to the presence of supercars that come in from the Middle East. These cars are owned by rich Saudi billionaires who come to the British capital on vacation and prefer to get around in the comfort of their own set of wheels. On Wednesday a row of gold supercars were parked in the posh area of Knightsbridge, all of which were blessed with parking fines, caused more than just turning heads.

The cars lined up are a Lamborghini Aventador (INR 2.5 Crores), a Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe (approx INR 3 Crore) and a 6×6 Mercedes G 63 (INR 3.5 Crore). Of course that does not include the cost of covering the cars in gold vinyl and the price of getting the cars from the Middle East to London, via specially adapted planes.

Among these supercars was an imposter and us simpletons can do nothing but applaud his sense of humour.

Rupert Richmond-Dodd decided to cover his tiny, affordable hatchback Ford Ka in gold wrapping paper after parking it in Knightsbridge in an effort to 'fit in'.

The gold supercars were reported to belong to Turki Bin Abdullah, one of the many rich Middle Eastern billionaires who come to London in the summer and cruise around.
