When actor Justin Long lent his voice to a dog that was trapped in a tiny yard, we took notice. Although people don't often bat an eyelash when someone says, "I have an outdoor dog," most dogs that live outside lead painful lives. While there are plenty of people out there who provide their outdoor dogs with adequate shelter and plenty of belly scratches, many dogs in similar situations suffer at the hands of neglect. Long's narration provides chilling insight into the lives of dogs that want love and kindness, but receive nothing but heartbreak in return. While situations like this one may not seem neglectful from up close, stepping back and taking a look at the day-to-day lives of these dogs paints a much less pleasant picture.
