When she was just eight months old, Lakomi the wolf dog was found wandering alone and scared in the woods. Her rescuers assumed she was born and partially raised in captivity -- she had a harness on that was meant for a little pup. After hours of surgery, they removed the fabric that had become embedded in her flesh. Then began the slow process of socializing her. Despite all efforts, though, Lakomi was largely anti-social. Then one day, a new caretaker came on board. After just a few months of work with her, Lakomi became a whole new wolf dog...just watch! I can't believe how cuddly she is now. That is the look of pure joy!
