There are few films which redefined the course of Indian cinema, be it storytelling or characterization. And Don was one such iconic film. Such was it's charm that actor-director Farhan Akhtar couldn't stay away from re-making it with Shah Rukh Khan. But as they say, old is gold. The blockbuster film which completed 38 years, holds enough memories with not just its fans, but also its cast and crew. Don catapulted its lead actor Amitabh Bachchan to a completely different league, considering he enjoyed a hit at the box office after a long stint of five years, post Zanjeer.
Big B, in an emotional message, shared happiness about the legendary film completing 38 years. He said he feels "blessed".

Don established Amitabh as a one-man industry. It was a surprise hit and with the passage of time it has acquired the tag of a larger than life cinema. Even son Abhishek couldn't contain himself from writing about his "all time favourite film".
