Accused Of Breeding and Trafficking Over 100 Tigers Removed From Thailand Famous Tiger Temple

Wildlife officials in Thailand have begun removing some of the 137 tigers held at a Buddhist temple. The move comes after accusations by animal rights groups that the monks were involved in illegal breeding and trafficking of the animals.

The temple is a popular money-earning tourist attraction in the western province of Kanchanaburi.

Even though the temple promotes itself as a wildlife conservation center, it has been criticized for not properly setting up proper care for the animals.
