Following the footsteps of Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, another Bollywood starlet may soon be making her big Hollywood debut! As per the reports, Huma Qureshi is all set to appear in the reboot of the superhit Hollywood franchise The Mummy and she will be acting opposite the Mission Impossible actor Tom Cruise. Confirming the news, Huma’s spokesperson said, "Huma has recently auditioned for the third part of the successful franchise starring Hollywood star Tom Cruise and Sofia Boutella playing the lead antagonist."

The plot details of the new movie has been kept under wraps but according to the buzz that has been doing the rounds, the new version will be set in the modern times.

Tom Cruise will not produce the movie in collaboration with Universal, but he will be quite involved in the development of the movie. The movie is slated to release on June 9, 2017.
