All Thanks To Bengaluru Police Who Reunited This Man With His Family After 25 Years

Haven't we all cherished all those lost and found stories where people miraculously united with their loved ones after years? Another such heartwarming story has emerged from Bengaluru where a man was reunited with his family after 25 years. And all thanks to the city police' well-timed action on social media. The incident happened on September 16 when the officials at the Hanumantha Nagar police station received a call about a man who was lying unconscious in the locality. The man was identified as Y Jayarama Bhat through his PAN card. After admitting him to a private hospital, they put out his name and photograph on social media, reported New Indian Express.

Soon after the posts got viral, a software engineer named Ganesh Kambar, identified Jayarama. He first approached the police and then contacted Jayarama's younger brother Chandrashekara Bhat and informed him about his missing brother. Jayarama Bhat had gone missing when he was around 23 years old, from Bulleri Katte village in Kasargod taluk around 25 years ago. Despite best efforts, his family couldn't find him and assumed that he had gone missing. But fate had other plans, and after 25 years, he is now reunited with his younger brother. "Back then, Y Jayarama Bhat was the only tailor in Bulleri Katte village in Kasargod taluk, my hometown. I had just passed my 10th standard and till then, I used to wear only shorts. When I joined PUC, I was allowed to wear pants. So, I got my first pant stitched from Jayarama Bhat. That stayed in my memory. I also knew his father Janardhana Bhat,” Kambar told the New Indian Express.
