Amazon Forced To Apologise For Display Hoarding Mocking Kerala Public Transport

E-commerce giant Amazon.in faced strong criticism on social media for its recent 'We Indians love to help' hoarding erected in Bengaluru. It featured a picture of a stalled Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus being pushed by a group of people with the caption 'We Indians love helping'. The public was quick to respond to the advertisement. The majority saw it as an insult to the state's transport and soon took to social media to vent their anger. The citizens unanimously asked Amazon.in why it criticised KSRTC when it has got little clue about it. The reply to Amazon.in, mostly from Malayalis, was—"We are here to criticise our ill systems. We don't need anybody from outside to do that.

The company has reportedly removed the hoarding and apologised for the same.
