The film Sarbjit may have faced mixed reviews but despite all the flaws it was the barely recognisable Randeep Hooda who kept the spectators hooked with his performance. After a series of flop films (Rang Rasiya, Ungli, Beeba Boys, Main Aur Charles, Laal Rang), the actor finally showed his true potential with his stellar performance in Sarbjit. Well, he was so impressive that even the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, couldn't resist personally writing a letter to Randeep on his fine performance. A thrilled Randeep, took to Twitter and posted the letter thanking Big B for all the appreciation:

Randeep Hodda had to lose 18 kgs in just 28 days for his role. This makeover shocked everyone on social media. At a trailer launch the actor had said that the film has affected him tremendously after he came to know what Sarabjit Singh actually went through during his days in Pakistan.
