BSNL Wants Rs 1,029 Outstanding Bill From Late President A P J Abdul Kalam


In an embarrassment to Raj Bhavan, state-owned BSNL in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala has issued a notice to it seeking recovery of Rs 1,029 in dues for a causal telephone connection taken during a visit of former President A P J Abdul Kalam in 2010. Directing the telecom officials to seize his movable and unmovable properties of the defaulter if he failed to clear the bill, the bill demanded a one-time settlement of the dues from late President.
