CBSE Class 12 Results Declared, Delhi Girl Tops With 99.2% Marks


The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results for class 12th examinations have been declared. The pass percentage is 82%, which has reduced by 0.70% from last year.

Girls outshine boys yet again with a pass percentage of 87.56 as compared to 77.77 per cent of the boys.

Thiruvananthapuram region topped the results with 95.41 pass percentage. Delhi girl M Gayatri from New Green Fields school has topped with 496 marks out of 500, with a whopping 99.2 percentage.

The second rank has been shared by three students- Mythili Mishra (Noida), B Arun (Trivendram) and Saurabh Bhambri (Delhi), scoring 495 marks.

This year the results have been declared earlier than last year. This year a total of 10,40,368 students were registered for the Class XII exams, which includes 6,07,383 boys and 4,32,985 girls.



The board has advised schools under the Delhi region to collect the results from the office of the respective zonal office of Deputy Director of Education after the declaration of the results.

The results can be seen on the following websites - www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.

The counselling would begin from tomorrow itself and continue till June 8.

The results of CBSE’s class 10 examination would also be announced in a couple of days, an official said to HT. .
