David Headley Tells Mumbai Court he hates India Since 1971 Wanted To Take Revenge

"My father knew that I was a member of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba(LeT)," Pakistani-American terrorist David Headley, who has turned approver in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks case, told a Mumbai court on Friday. Here are some important revelations from Headley's deposition:

I have hated India since I was a child because Indian fighter jets bombed my school in December 1971.

I joined Lashkar-e-Taiba to "take revenge" for bombing of my school by Indian fighter planes in 1971.

I had told my father about my association with Lashkar.

My father objected to my association with LeT.

My father, brother and some other of my relatives were in Pakistan establishment but I can't disclose their details.

My father retired as DG of Radio Pakistan and he died on December 25, 2008.
