Delhi Man’s Valentine’s Day Turns Horrific As He Gets Killed While Meeting Facebook Friend

27-year-old Delhi-guy Ishwar possibly made the worst decision of his life when he went to Sushant Lok in Gurgaon to meet a Facebook friend, a girl and celebrate Valentine’s Day that eventually led to his death. 2 men, who also happen to be the girl’s brother-in-law and driver, allegedly beat him up, threw him off a multi-storeyed building, and then dumped the body to Khandsa Road to make the whole ordeal appear as a road accident. Sandeep Ahlawat, SHO, Sushant Lok Police Station, said, “We had received information from a hospital about a critically injured man, who was admitted here at around 9 pm last night. We rushed there once we got the information. The hospital again called us at around 1 am, saying the man succumbed to his injuries.”

Ishwar and the girl had gotten in touch on Facebook and after 7 months of being friends online, he had asked the girl to celebrate Valentine’s Day with him in Gurgaon at an apartment in Sushant Lok area.

Hawa Singh, CPRO Gurgaon Police, said, “While they were interacting with each other in the flat, her brother-in-law, identified as Ramesh (30) and his driver Anil Kumar (25) reached there. And, seeing Ishwar there, the duo brutally assaulted him in a fit of rage, and later threw him down from the balcony.”

The victim did not die on the spot and after dumping the body on Khandsa Road, both the brother-in-law and the driver fled the spot.

Deepak Saharan, DCP (East) Gurgaon Police said, “An FIR in this regard has been lodged against Ramesh and Anil under 302 (murder), 201 (dispersing evidences) and 34 criminal conspiracy in Sushant Lok police station and both the accused have been arrested.”
