Even as Bangladesh is trying to recover from the shock of the biggest terror attack in the country in the recent years, terror has revisited the country once again. A powerful blast ripped through the largest Eid gathering in Bangladesh at at Kishoreganj on thursday morning. It happened outside a venue where at least 200,000 people were gathered for Eid prayers. At least two people including a policeman have been killed in the incident. According to some local media reports as many as ten people could have been injured in the blast.

There are also reports that a gun battle is still underway between police and gunmen.

The blast in Kishoreganj comes six days after the country was hit by the biggest terror attack in capital Dhaka where at least 22 people, mostly foreigners were killed. The Islamic State had claimed responsibility of the attack.

It had also warned of more such attacks in the country.
