Pictures purportedly showing the incident posted on social media showed a thick black plume of smoke rising from the top of the burning plane. "The aircraft involved in the accident is Emirates Boeing 777-300 A6-EMW. It was delivered in March 2003," Flightradar24 tweeted. Passengers tweeted that fire engines were rushed to the aircraft and the fire was put out immediately.275 passengers and crew were on board of Emirates flight EK521 from Thiruvananthapuram to Dubai which was involved in the incident.
