"All departure flights from #Dubai International Airport have been delayed until further notice". the Dubai Media Office wrote on Twitter. Pictures purportedly showing the incident posted on social media showed a thick black plume of smoke rising from the top of the burning plane. "The aircraft involved in the accident is Emirates Boeing 777-300 A6-EMW. It was delivered in March 2003," Flightradar24 tweeted. Passengers tweeted that fire engines were rushed to the aircraft and the fire was put out immediately.
