Facebook's 'Like' button finally gets newer companions. Here they are! The emoji reactions that have been rolled out worldwide, are a different, more simplified way of expressing emotions than just expressing 'dislike'.

Because our lives wouldn't be complete without love, laughter, surprise, sadness and anger. Something that a simple 'dislike' button could never have accomplished.

In his Facebook post, Mark Zuckerberg explains how easy it is to use these emoji.

It's actually very simple. Hold down the 'Like' button when using the app, or hover around it when on the desktop.

The reactions come after a year-long period of research and experimentation. And while many demanded the 'dislike' button, Zuckerberg spoke at length as to why a more detailed 'Like' button was the way to go.

And we are really excited to start using it!
