For The Very First Time Salman Khan Might Play A Villain In Dhoom 4 And Race 3

Aap Devil ke peeche. Devil aapke peeche... Too much fun! Won't it be way too much fun if we get to see our favourite Salman Khan playing a villain? In his entire career of over two decades, the only thing the superstar hasn't done is play a baddie onscreen. And if reports are to be believed, the actor is going to break the jinx with not just one, but two mega films - Dhoom 4 and Race 3.

Salman has experimented with his roles that have ranged from a cop to a criminal. But even if he played a badass, like he did in Kick, he was a good guy at the end of the day. But not this time! Dhoom franchise is known for its strong antagonists - John Abraham, Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan, who managed to steal the limelight from the remaining star cast. Now we hear Salman is in talks with its maker Aditya Chopra about the same. According to buzz, Bhai also wants a profit-sharing ratio in D:4 just like his good friend Aamir did in D:3. This news surfaced just after some reports claimed that Salman has already been roped in to play a negative role in next film in the Race franchise. A source told DNA:

"Salman wants to play a cool, stylish villain. He has never played one before. His negative role in Race 3 is almost finalised, but discussions are still on with Aditya Chopra for Dhoom:4. The issue is a financial one where Salman wants a stake in D:4, just like Aamir had in Dhoom:3. Salman wants the same profit-sharing ratio that was offered to the D:3 star. Once that is finalised, he's on."

It also remains to be seen who will direct both the films. While Dhoom:3 director Vijay Krishna Acharya is busy with his next project which is a period-thriller-drama with Hrithik Roshan, Race director duo Abbas-Mastan are also caught up with their upcoming film. While Salman's competitor Shah Rukh Khan is raving on great reviews for his cynical act in Fan, he already has super successful films like Darr, Baazigar and Anjaam in his kitty where he impressed all with a negative act.

At the moment, Salman is busy wrapping up Ali Abbas Zafar's Sultan, which opens in theatres this Eid. The 50-year-old actor will soon begin shooting for Kabir Khan's untitled project and also a Rajkumar Santoshi film. If he approves any of the two films, it would be his first as an anti-hero. It now needs to be seen the makers of which movie will walk away with Salman's maiden villainous act.
