Another SMH (shaking my head) kinda incident happened in Washington. A fluffy, extremely cute looking harbour seal breathed its last after a woman carried the animal off a beach in a tote bag! After the seal fell nearly unconscious, the woman then realised to call up her local aquarium. “She then took it home and realised she really didn’t know what to do for it or how to take care of it,” National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Fisheries (NOAA) public affairs officer Michael Milstein told ABC News. When the aquarium volunteers reached her place, the seal was reported to be alive, but ‘extremely lethargic’. It therefore, had to be euthanized. It is argued that the woman had a good agenda behind helping the pup, however that has harmed the animal, instead of helping it. This is not the only incident where humanity is to be blamed for killing innocent animals for their own entertainment. In a recent incident, a baby dolphin was pulled out of the ocean in Argentina for selfies.
