The Indian Army recovered the newly-introduced Rs 2,000 notes from the two militants who were killed in an encounter with security forces in north Kashmir's Bandipora district on Monday. The recovery comes as a concern for security agencies as these new notes were introduced for circulation only a fortnight ago.
"Two militants have been killed in an encounter in Bandipora," a police official said.
