Even as Indian wrestlers gear up for the Rio Olympics, they may have to face one of their own in the main event.

Vinod Kumar Dahiya, who hails from Khanda village in Haryana, will be representing Australia in the 66kg category.

He became an Australian citizen one year back.

The 31-year-old secured an Olympic berth after winning a silver medal at the African/Oceania Olympic qualifiers in Algeria.

The wrestler moved to Australia in 2010. He represented the green and gold for the first time at the Oceania Championships in New Zealand in March, where he bagged the gold medal.
