At the tender age of 14, Yashwant towers over his peers. As his doctors predict his further growth to up to 8 feet, he fears he will probably never meet the girl of his dreams or find a pair of trousers that actually fit.

As of now his other problems include bumping his head everywhere at home and school, not fitting into the family car and not being able to sit comfortably at his school desk.

The school boy from Solapur (Maharashtra), however, does not come from a family of tall people. His father is only 5 feet and 5 inches while his mother is even shorter. Although his height makes his life a little uncomfortable, it has made him a local celebrity to the point where people ask for pictures and autographs.

What Yashwant really wants, is to become a basketball player and represent the country.
