Ever since news of Salman Khan’s appointment as the Olympics Goodwill ambassador has broken out, some people are surely not happy and even displayed their displeasure in various forms. From wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt to Milkha Singh, many people think that this is the most illogical thing that has been done. Amidst all the social media flak and criticism from several people, Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan posted some tweets in his son’s defence. He wrote: "Salman khan may not have competed but is an A level swimmer cyclist and weight lifter. Sportsmen are performing because of sports lovers like us." However, one interesting bit here is that Salman Khan's ex and now his 'friend' Katrina Kaif had the best take on this whole issue. Even though Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif parted ways long time back, they’ve still not completely disassociated themselves with each other. Time and again they’ve spoken about each other and unlike Hrithik and Kangana, they've always spoken good things about each other. At a recent event, Katrina was asked to comment on the Salman Khan and his appointment as the Olympics Goodwill Ambassador and instead of dodging the question, she chose to give a sensible reply. She said: “Salman ko leke controversy hai...woh naya cheez hai kya?!” Well said, Kat! Considering the fact that Salman Khan and controversies go hand in hand, this news and the controversy that followed was no surprise. Everyone really needs to take a chill pill!
