An American man has been arrested this week for allegedly attacking Google’s headquarters in Mountain View, California with Molotov cocktails. According to an affidavit, Raul Murillo Diaz launched beer bottles at a Google building on May 19th. They landed near a Google Street View car, and a fire broke out behind the vehicle.

Diaz is being investigated for a possible role in 2 other recent Google-related crimes: the intentional burning of a self-driving car, and a shooting attempt that left 5 holes in the company’s office windows. Evidence points against him - surveillance footage showed the car he drives, a 2004 Volkswagen Tourareg at the scene of the crime.

He'll also be charged for possession of a pipe bomb, found in his car when police pulled him over. When questioned by police, Diaz reportedly said that he “felt Google was watching him and it made him upset,” and that he kept journals documenting when he felt he was being watched.
