Muslim Man Donates Truck To Tirupati Temple For Transportation Of Vegetables To The Shrine

Abdul Gani, a Muslim resident in Chennai, has donated a refrigerator truck to the Tirupati temple for transporting vegetables to the holy shrine. Worth Rs 35 lakhs and with a capacity of 8 tonnes, the truck was flagged off by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on 15th February, as reported by NDTV.

The vegetables will be delivered to the temple toward its food scheme called Nitya Annadan.

The vegetables have been donated to the temple by Mandava Kutumba Rao and his family since 2007.
