Pak’s ‘Maulana Diesel’ Joins The Bigot Bandwagon, Says Women In Jeans Cause Earthquakes

Whenever tragedy strikes the world or a crisis escalates, leaders from around the world come out to do their part. Among these leaders, there are those who employ all available resources and try to help people in times of distress. But there are also those who provide brilliant solutions citing the most unimaginable reasons behind these calamities. It is also an added advantage that our sub-continent is one region that excels in producing such great leaders. When the earthquake in Nepal shook the Himalayas and thousands of lives were lost, people from around the world were rushing to help the people of Nepal. During this time our very own Sakshi Maharaj came up with an ingenious theory. He said that the devastating quake was an outcome of Rahul Gandhi visiting Kedarnath after consuming beef and hence enraging the deity. If this wasn’t shocking enough, he was followed by his counterpart in Iran. Ayatollah Kazim Sadeghi dug deeper and claimed upon his research that women wearing “un-Islamic” dresses and having extra marital affairs were the reason behind this earthquake. Such is the insight and supreme knowledge of these leaders that it even surpasses the understanding possessed by geologists and environmental experts. Source: The Express Tribune

But lo and behold, the reservoir of unbelievable statements doesn’t end here. Cleric turned politician and JUI-F chief Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, more affectionately called ""Maulana Diesel"" in his homeland Pakistan, claims that women wearing jeans are not only responsible for earthquakes but also for the regional crisis in Pakistan, extremist violence, inflation and the power crisis that plagues Pakistan.

This person, known for labeling all major issue as a “Jewish conspiracy”, even went further to describe “women in jeans” as potential weapons of mass destruction and asked the Pakistan army to launch a military operation against this grave threat to internal security. In the past the Maulana has also declared that even dogs killed by the US are martyrs.

So it seems the Americans made a grave mistake. Instead of looking for chemical weapons in Iraq, they should have gone after “women wearing jeans” in Pakistan.
