In recent developments, Colaba police arrested Gopal Valmiki the 25-year-old offender, a resident of Colaba. The incident happened when the complainant, an employee of an audit firm in Mumbai was returning form her morning walk. As reported by Times Of India, her tweet was retweeted innumerable times and reached the Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis' office. He instructed the police to look into the matter.
