Phone Records Reveal 1993 Blasts Accused Dawood Ibrahim Allegedly In Touch With Indian Politicians

Leading politicians are in touch with one of India's most wanted gangsters Dawood Ibrahim, according to a media report. 4 landline calls made to the mob boss’s mansion in Karachi were reportedly leaked by by Vadodara-based ethical hacker Manish Bhangale and his partner, Jayesh Shah, over a 7 month period (September 5, 2015 - April 5, 2016)

These were corroborated with senior intelligence officials, who confirmed that these telephone numbers "are being actively used by Dawood Ibrahim and his family members."

These calls involve India, UAE, and an international bank, but its a number from a senior political leader that has raised eyebrows. Dawood's telephone numbers are also part of the dossier that India's National Security Adviser Ajit Doval presented to his Pakistani counterpart, General Nasir Khan Janjua. However, the actual call detail records of the telephone numbers have never been in the public domain before this.

Ethical hacker Manish Bhangale told India Today about his work on this leak:"I was able to get the call detail records of the telephone numbers registered at Dawood Ibrahim’s address by hacking into the website of PTCL and typing in the Customer Identity and Exchange Code for the telephone numbers that were registered in Mehjabeen Shaikh’s name."
