A man from Tustin, USA, was recently arrested on charges of animal cruelty after getting his little pup, Bubba, addicted to Methamphetamine and Heroin. It all started in March when the Tustin Police Department arrested two subjects from a local motel for possession of large quantities of illegal drugs. During the investigation, the cops found Bubba, a terrier mix pup who seemed a little woozy and high. Upon investigation, it was found that the terrier had been a victim of substance abuse. A health check up showed Bubba with meth, heroin and nicotine in his system thanks to his owners. The officers transported Bubba to the Orange County Animal Care where he was treated for his condition. According to Tustin Police Department, the canine "has been treated for drug addiction and is doing excellent." The conditions in which Bubba was found in was cruel, to say the least. Which is why an animal cruelty charge was filed against his former owners. Bubba is currently still under medical care, and will be under observation till he fully recovers. He would then be placed with a rescue organisation who will put him up for adoption - at a home that will care for him, and hopefully keep him away from crystal meth.
