The star lends a helping hand to the helpless people of Chennai. The unseasonal heavy rains in Chennai have created a lot of havoc and devastation in the capital of Tamil Nadu already. Clean drinking water and food has also been an issue and there is no sign of improvement. A lot of celebrities have come forward and started helping out in the relief process. Recently, Dilwale actor Shah Rukh Khan and his upcoming film’s team donated Rs 1 crore for the victims of the Chennai floods. Many other cine stars from the Tamil and Telugu film industries like actors Suriya and Allu Arjun also donated Rs 25 lakh each to help the flood victims, while Mahesh Babu and Junior NTR promised Rs 10 lakh each. Actor Siddharth, along with popular Tamil RJ Balaji has also been coordinating rescue operations on the ground with the help of the social media and volunteers.
