Apple didn't have very good news for the users of its older iPad models at the recent WWDC event. The technology giant announced that it is dropping support for three older iPad models: iPad 2, iPad 3, and the first-generation iPad mini (first-generation). This means that once Apple releases the latest version of its mobile operating system, iOS 10, millions of iPads will become obsolete. As according to a report in Zdnet, quoting Localytics, "...it could mean that some 40 percent of all iPads currently in use will become obsolete because they will no longer receive security updates and patches."
