Telangana, India's youngest state, has set some tall goals. How tall? 303 feet to be exact. That is the height of the proposed flagpole which is being built at Hyderabad along the Hussain Sagar Lake. Once completed, it will be the tallest Indian flag in the country, overtaking the 293 feet tall national flag in Ranchi which currently holds the record.

The project being built at a cost of Rs 1.96 crore is expected to be completed in the next two weeks and will be inaugurated by chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on June 2, the second anniversary of the state's formation.

On a side note, the pole's height was fixed at 303 because, the sum of the numbers, 6 is KCR's lucky number.
