The world's largest museum has opened a new job position for a historian/scholar who would like to study the American Brewing History Initiative and it will pay INR 42,85,148 lakhs or $64,000. The Smithsonian Food History project at the National Museum of American History in Washington DC is looking for a professional historian/scholar to study archives and do field research on American brewing history. It wants candidates to pay particular attention on the craft industry. The position is for three years and the candidate needs to be more than just passionate about beer. He/she needs to have proven experience in scholarly research, organising history interviews and writing for both fellow academics and the general public. It also wants candidates with an advanced degree in American business, brewing, food, cultural or a similar specialisation within history. Through this job opportunity, the museum hopes to document the history and cultural importance of beer in the United States. The deadline for the application is August 10, 2016.
