Delhi police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of an Uber taxi driver. The incident happened late on Thursday after the driver identified as Kuldeep got into an argument with two passengers during the ride. He was shot dead by the duo, both said to be in their teens. “Our thoughts are with the family of our driver-partner, the victim of this mindless violence. We have pro-actively shared details with the police to assist them with their investigation,” Gagan Bhatia, General Manager, Uber North India, said in a statement. Police tracked down the suspects using the data they had provided to the taxi service provider to book the cab.
