Waive Off My Children Fees Or Face IS Attack Madhya Pradesh Man Threatens School Principal

Madhya Pradesh police have booked a man from Dewas for allegedly threatening to blow up a school with a bomb if the outstanding fees of his children were not waived-off. Police said the man, identified as Mohommad Usmaan, the father of a boy and a girl had written a letter to the principal of BCM School after he demanded him to pay the outstanding fees of Rs 44,000. The letter in Hindi carried threats like blowing the school with a bomb and setting alight the principal.

"We were very scared after we got the letter and immediately approached the police. It is the matter of safety of my school and over 1,300 students studying here," Fr Varghese Joseph, principal of BCM Prominent School said.

He also claimed that Usmaan had not paid the fees of the two children for years and was creating problems for them by falsely making harassment complaints against the management.

Police claimed that the letter does not seem to be the handiwork of ISIS. “It seems that the letter is written to threaten the principal and in no way is IS involved in this act," station-in-charge RR Gautam said.

A manhunt is on for Usmaan and police are also trying to verify his handwriting.
