Squash is currently not an Olympic sport, and hence the WSF World International Doubles were concurrently held in Darwin, Australia. India won a historic 3 medals at the event – the first time in the history of the championships. That means it was the best performance by Indians at this event The pair of Saurav Ghosal and Dipika Pallikal won a silver medal in the mixed doubles category They narrowly missed out on a Gold medal, losing to the New Zealand pair of Paul Coll and Joelle King 8-11, 8-11.
