Fast-paced thrillers are like summer blockbuster movies. You cannot really tear your eyes away from them. They hold your attention from start to end and there is not one moment you get bored, even to stretch your legs. Some of them get your heart beating fast as if you are the protagonist going through the thrill so well described by the authors in their magical words. They are the kind of books that keep you rooted in the moment without thinking too much over deeper things. And that is why they are your perfect companions anywhere.

Even though the novel is supposed to be a mystery thriller, Larsson captures the human emotion with grace that is not really visible because there is so much happening.
Love it or hate it, it is a piece of skillful writing. It holds your attention very well and if you ignore the nuances and actual history behind the themes you can actually enjoy the book.
