Waterfalls aren’t something we usually associate with India and that’s sad because there are plenty of really beautiful ones here in our own country. In fact, most of our states have at least one waterfall. But how many of them have we heard about? Well, not many? Take a look at the most drop dead gorgeous waterfalls in India that are going to make you feel travel sick. Meenmutty Falls, Kerala These great falls are located 29 kms away from Kalpetta in the Wayanad District in Kerala. The waterfall gets divided into three parts, and stretches over 300 meters. To get to the fall you need to complete a 2 km hike which makes it an adventurous outing. These falls are best visited in the monsoon when the river is full of water.



Jang Falls, Arunachal Pradesh

Jang Falls are believed to be one of India’s most beautiful waterfalls. Also known by the name Nuranang Falls, these are situated about 40 kms from Tawang town and make for a popular tourist attraction in the state. Jang Falls are created by the Nuranang River and drop down amidst the lush green mountains from a height of 100 metres.

Bhimlat Falls, Rajasthan

We all imagine Rajasthan as this dry and arid region. But Bhimlat Falls are a major attraction of the state. Though, only 60m in height, these falls are spectacular looking. Located on the Bundi-Chhitorgarh road, the waterfall was created by Bhim for his mother Kunti. However, historians think these falls originated after an earthquake.
