What is the one word that helps you sum up India? Well, if you ask us, the one word would be “colorful”. Yes; from the people to the houses to the décor and even the streets—vibrant and colorful are the two terms that can be aptly used to describe India. And, do you know where you can visualize this variation of hues? It’s the streets, of course. And, this list is all about the streets of India—sometimes painted in vivid hues, sometimes in quirky hues while the rest of the times in shady and dark hues. So, here we go—

1. Festivities Galore

Lights, crackers, colorful clothes, smiling people, candy floss, popsicles, music, dance, gaiety—ah! There can never be any particular word to describe our Indian festivals. And, the best part is, our festivities would be completely incomplete without shaking our legs on the streets.

From playing holi in the streets to bursting firecracker rolls to the immersion of Durga or Ganpati—in order to get the best out of them, you have to do a rock-n-roll right at the streets! Again, the erratic traffic conditions thanks to the festivities have been ignored. And, so has been the irritation caused when unwillingly someone immerses you in color on Holi…..and, the list continues.
