Genuinely funny cop movies are few and far apart in our current Bollywood scenario. You’ll see movies range from the totally bizarre to the “worst director in Bollywood” kind, yet they never manage to squeeze a giggle out of you. Yes, it was a remake. No, it’s not meant to be genuinely funny but how can you keep a straight face with Ajay Devgan in a cop suit, tossing guys twice his size, all over the place? I mean come on, the facial hair speaks for itself.

And add to that the commercial brilliance of Rohit Shetty and you’re bound to end up watching it, even if you don’t like any of the elements I’ve mentioned. Maybe too many bad cooks stew up an insanely tasty dish.
