Even if you were a stranger to Indian politics, you’d be able to spot him from a lineup of other politicians. For one, he’d be telling the others how to iron their khadi kurtas properly, and then livetweeting the event. He’s just not cut out for Indian politics and here are six reasons why.

4. He has nothing to chest thump about

If 2014 politics were an equation, a blackboard would read ‘Modi = Gujarat + Development’. We know Tharoor has something to do with Kerala, but we’re not clear what exactly he’s done there.

5. He still hasn’t figured out that the media will spin things

From the famous cattle class incident (where the media had to be literally educated that cattle class means seats in Economy class, to his more recent support of Modi’s Swacch Bharat), Tharoor doesn’t seem to register that the media wants drama.
