Finally India managed to get a one tick mark on the wins column in Australia. Thanks to a belligerent 104 not out from 81 balls from youngster Manish Pandey and a 99 from Rohit Sharma, India completed the 331-run chase in the final over.
Captain MS Dhoni showed glimpses of his best as a finisher with a six in the last over. Pandey was given man of the match in just his 4th ODI and ROhit Sharma the man of the series for scoring 441 runs in the five games.
With 4-1 reading a more respectable scoreline than a 5-0 whitewash, this is how twitter reacted after India's first international win of 2016.
