4. Gilli Danda

Two sticks, one striker and oodles of excitement make this game a totally fun filled one. It is much like cricket, if we may say so, albeit a far reached comparison it is. In this game, you have two sticks on varied lengths.

4.

The first, and the longer stick, is known as danda while the much shorter one is known as gilli. What the striker has to do is hold the danda and hit the gilli lying over the ground in such a fashion that it is lifted to a height. Now, before the gilli touches the ground, the striker has to strike the gilli with the danda as far as possible, and before it is collected by the opponent team, he has to run a pre-decided point.
