For Muggles who don’t know, Quidditch is the favourite sport of the wizarding world in Harry Potter world. But did you know that children of Kalap in interior Garhwal, Uttarakhand also play Quidditch, with broomsticks, quaffle, snitch et al. Anshu Agarwal, a 25-year-old freelance photographer, a Potter fanatic, and a teacher in an NGO working in the village released the series of photos on his page Anshoots Photography and the photos are as magical as possible.

He says, “As an exercise to teach the children English I show them Harry Potter movies on Sundays. They are smitten by them too and once expressed how they wished to be witches and wizards themselves. Since I was already into Levitation Photography, I thought of making an effort to materialise their fantasy”.

Agarwal set up a foot high wooden bench , with brromsticks and a volleyball was used as the quaffle.
